A while back @Lasse Rouhiainen asked: 'What are the first steps when a company wants to use MyData? I would like to recommend MyData to one of my client, but not sure where to start?' I thought in simplicity this is a great question, and we might write a blogpost on this, in the spirit of “I believe in MyData - so what, what do I do now?”
Facebook has been clandestinely accumulating written transcriptions of its users' conversations, which the social media giant recorded through their phone microphones - source. @Tuuka noted however, that 'the audio came from people who opted to have their voice chats transcribed in Facebook Messenger' - source.
I'm happy to finally introduce the new layout of the MyData Weekly Digest. When I started the digest in June I just threw some existing components from previous projects together and did not pay much attention on how to present the different bits and pieces. With the help from user @Tim and @Kata on Slack we created now a much more polished version and I hope you will enjoy it! If you find some glitches in the new version or have comments please don't hesitate to write me at mdwd(at)ownyourdata.eu.
In the MyData world planning for the MyData 2020 conferences already started and @Ansku Tuomainen asked for input on the monthly MyData newsletter.
