Köszöntünk a MyData Weekly Digest híroldalon, amely elkötelezetten törekszik arra, hogy minőségi híreket szolgáltasson a személyes adatok kezelésének emberközpontú megközelítéséről. A híreket elsősorban az (angol nyelvű) MyData Global Slack Channel -ről gyűjtjük 2019 júniusa óta. A bejegyzések és a hozzászólások a feltüntetett felhasználó tulajdonát képezik. A MyData a jelenlegi gyakorlattól eltérő elképzelés a személyes adatok etikus felhasználásáról. Erre épülő mozgalom és közösség, valamint egy globális nonprofit szervezet is egyben. MyData Design Checklist

I am working with Jogi for the Vake MyData Accelerator in Finland. Our aim is to bring the Design & User dimension to the core of the solutions the participating companies are developing. In an effort to give useful tools to implement MyData principles, I have started to draft a 'MyData Design Checklist'. This is the very first rough draft, and I would be very thankful for any feedback. And if you have worked on something similar, please do share your experiences.

Finland Leads The Way In The Secondary Use Of Health And Social Care Data (Podcast: 5:19min)

Medical data are considered particularly sensitive personal information. Laws and regulations in most countries, including the USA and throughout Europe, generally aim to restrict sharing such information with the target of building privacy walls around each person’s data. But making such health data available more broadly is key to improved medical care, research and the advance of health science. Finland is the first country known to have adopted an approach to allow third parties to access health data for the purposes of scientific research, drug and health technology development and knowledge-based management in social and health care.

Is there a formal connection between MyData and Contract-for-the-Web?

Sir Tim was much in the news over the weekend, and it prompts me to ask if there's any formal connection between MyData and his contractfortheweb.org? @Iain mentioned that not all organizations are happy to endorse the contract and @Henrik Biering referred to an earlier discussion on Slack.

Proposal for Governance of Collaborative Processes

I think some combination of the board, the steering group and the GM should aim to get three structured tracks going for Request for Comments, Call for Proposals and MyData Enhancement Proposals. This of course mirrors in process the way many technical communities structure themselves, with the hope of tapping more effectively into the diverse skills of the community, without having to “ask for permission”.
